Position(s) Available: Graphic Design Intern

Payment Status: Unpaid Internship with Incentives; School Credit Applicable  

Reports to: Dariana Colon-Bibb, Managing Partner

Location: Rebelle Agency HQ – 40 West 135th Street, New York, NY 10037 & Remote

 

graphic design intern

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support marketing campaigns
  • work closely with creative team to develop ideas for our clients
  • day to day social media graphics

REQUIREMENTS

  • College student, recent grad or individual interested in career transition
  • Strong interest in graphic design 
  • Knowledgeable and/or proficient in Adobe (Photoshop, inDesign, Illustrator)
  • Ability to adapt and learn by experience
  • Resourceful self-starter with ability to solve problems quickly
  • Organized and strong communication skills
  • Owns a computer

TIME COMMITMENT

  • 15 - 20 Hours/wk; Mandatory Weekly Meetings (in office and/or remote)

 

public relations/marketing intern

Position Responsibilities

  • Updating databases, conducting research and general office/administrative duties
  • Writing press releases, press kits and all other press materials
  • Conduct research projects as needed such as competitive analyses and trend reports
  • Manage press clippings and client activity reports
  • Manage and report on company and client social media sites
  • Gifting celebrities, editors, writers and industry tastemakers/professionals
  • Support the planning and execution of company events
  • Personnel Correspondence

REQUIREMENTS

  • College students, recent grads or individuals interested in career transition
  • Proactive and resourceful self-starter with the ability to quickly solve problems
  • Keen listener, organized and pays close attention to detail
  • Have strong interest in and knowledge of the public relations, brand management and experiential marketing industries
  • Knowledgeable and/or proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, in Design, Google Apps and Internet Research
  • Proficient in Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google+, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.
  • Ability to adapt and learn by experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well independently and in a fast paced environment
  • Owns a personal computer

TIME COMMITMENT

  • 15 - 20 Hours/wk; Mandatory In-Person Weekly Meetings
  • Must be available some nights and weekends for Rebelle Agency events

 

photography/videography intern

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Rebelle Agency and client marketing campaigns
  • work closely with Rebelle Agency Creative Team to develop ideas for our clients
  • Support the planning and execution of client product and brand shoots
  • Creatively lead at least one event or shoot a month
  • Capture content from every Rebelle Agency and client project

REQUIREMENTS

  • College student, recent grad or individual interested in career transition
  • Strong interest in photography and/or videography 
  • Knowledgeable and/or proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Aperture or Final Cut (or equivalent editing application)
  • Ability to adapt and learn by experience
  • Resourceful self-starter with ability to solve problems quickly
  • Organized and strong communication skills
  • Owns a professional camera and computer

TIME COMMITMENT

  • Mandatory Weekly Meetings (in office and/or remote)
  • Must be available for all Rebelle Agency events
